Host Dr. Jeff Lehmkuhler is an Extension Professor at the University of Kentucky and is joined in this episode by Dr. Ron Trotta, Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky.  Dr. Trotta is actively researching practical approaches to combating fescue toxicosis in beef cattle.  Dr. Trotta shares how he got interested in beef cattle research and how his research program is tackling a costly challenge to the beef industry in the southeastern US.
